Chioma Okafor, a 21-year-old undergraduate who contested as Miss Bayelsa
has won the 2014 edition of the Miss Intercontinental Nigeria Beauty
Pageant 2014.
Okafor defeated 29 other contestants to emerge victorious in the
competition held in Lagos. Miss Lagos, Scarlet Shotade, was the first
runner-up, while Miss Abia, Sopuruchi Onwuka, was the second runner-up.
With the win, Okafor also claimed a grand prize of N2.5 million, a brand
new car and the chance to represent Nigeria at the Miss
Intercontinental World Beauty Pageant holding in Jordan later this year.
The first runner-up got N1.5 million, while the second runner-up
received N1 million.
