Man Rapes Two Sisters, Infects Them With HIV

A 32-year-old man, Mr. Terkura Iorpuu, has been arrested by the police for allegedly raping and infecting his lover’s children with HIV.

According to Punch Metro, the suspect who was arraigned before a chief magistrate’s court in Makurdi, Benue state was said to have raped the two girls aged eight and six.
Apparently it was learnt that the suspect, Terkura Iorpuu and his lover Mrs. Mson Tor, the mother of the two girls raped had been HIV positive for over a year and had been using anti-retroviral drugs.
The suspect, Terkura Iorpuu’s evil deed was exposed after the girls when questioned  revealed that it was their mother’s boyfriend that raped them.
The girls started walking in an unusual manner and were subsequently taken to Hemko Hospital, Makurdi for medical examination where a test was carried out and it was discovered that the girls had been defiled through “forceful penetration”.
Medical examination also showed that the two sisters were HIV positive.
The magistrate, Lilian Tsumba, adjourned till December 4 for further mentioning and ordered that the accused be remanded in prison.

Widow Raped By Her In-law In Kaduna

A 32-year-old widow was reportedly raped by her in-law in Gwantu, Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Daily Trust reports.

The suspects whose names were given as Yaro Juham and Anthony Danjuma have been arrested and remanded to a Kaduna Central Prison by a Chief Magistrate Court on the charges of rape.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Aminu Lawan, who made this known to journalists, revealed that the suspects carried out the nefarious act on October 16, 2014. He confirmed that the first suspect, Yaro Juham, is a distant relation of the widow’s late husband.
“At about 2 a.m. of that day, the two suspects went into the house of the widow and forced themselves in,” Lawan said.
The force spokesman further disclosed that the suspects asked the widow to bring out all her valuables, but was only able to provide N850.00, which they collected, and brought out a knife which they allegedly used in cutting off her finger before raping her.
Lawan said the first suspect, Yaro Juham, had carnal knowledge with the woman and when he was done, the second suspect, Anthony Danjuma, also took his turn.

Keshi Might Return As Super Eagles Coach

Reports circulating in the media allege that former Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi was asked to resume his duties for the AFCON qualifiers.


Eagles’ ex Big Boss, whose contract with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) expired in summer, after the team’s quit from the World Cup tournament, then managed the team for 4 qualifying matches of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) on the interim basis.
However a day after the the Super Eagles defeated Sudan 3-1 in a must-win match for Nigeria, Keshi was relieved from his job by the NFF led by its new president Amaju Pinnick. The football body appointed former coach Shaibu Amodu in an interim capacity.
